Women in Engineering is excited to present our 8th annual WiSE (Women in Science and Engineering) mentorship event! The event is almost here and we are excited for you to be a part of the special evening we have planned for you.
What: WiSE 2018
When: Monday, March 12th from 6 to 8pm
Where: Jack Poole Hall @ Robert H. Lee Alumni Centre
WiSE 2018, the largest event hosted by Women in Engineering, is an amazing opportunity for women* engineering students to connect with women in industry and/or academia who have taken traditional and non-traditional paths with their science and engineering degrees that have led to exciting careers. There will be 35 mentors from different fields and 2 amazing keynote speakers.
Each student will participate in 3 rounds of discussion with mentors of their choice and will have the opportunity to take part in an additional networking session planned for the end of the evening. Students will leave having gained a new perspective and a mentor with a career path similar to their goals. Come join us this year, for a night aimed at forming connections and being inspired, while enjoying a delicious catered dinner.
If you are interested, please register by filling out this form. You will be asked to name your top 6 choices for mentors. Mentor bios are available here.
Please note that there is a $5 registration fee. After completing the registration, you will be contacted by the WiSE committee 2-3 weeks prior to the event with payment details. If you have any financial concerns and would like us to waive this fee please email us at email@example.com and proceed with the mentor selection. The mentor selection form must be completed in order for you to attend the event and space is limited.
