Looking for ways to get involved with WiE? Interested in team-building and leadership experience?
General Members: 
Students who are interested in participating in our events throughout the year, please take a look at our events page. General membership is open to all students, year-round, by joining our mailing list to keep in touch with the WiE!
Committee Members: Students who are interested in collaborating on WiE events can apply for committee member roles. Committee members work closely with the executive team and members of their respective committees in order to organize WiE’s events. The time commitment for committee members is approximately 2-5 hours per week.
Applications to join our committees for 2022/23 open in September.
Executive Members: Students who are interested in taking on a leadership role within WiE can apply for executive roles. Executive members work collaboratively with the WiE President and committees in order to organize WiE’s events. The time commitment for executive members is approximately 5-10 hours per week.

Industry & Alumni
Looking to give back to your university? Interested in mentoring an engineering student? Do you wish you could cater your industry events to female engineering students? Look no further!
WiE is looking to host networking and industry events that cater directly to our female engineering population. We are actively seeking alumni and individuals in industry to work with the Women In Engineering Program at UBC in a variety of ways:
- Host Events
- Become a Mentor
- Be a Speaker at our next Workshop
